      Verdict

      PROVERB won in maiden company at Hamilton at the back end of last year and he’s gone on to enjoy success beyond that initial victory when the ground has been testing. Tajalla won a novice race here in May though Roger Varian’s colt is yet to race under these conditions. Spoof is a battle-hardened handicapper and the eight-year-old appears to have been rejuvenated by a switch to Kevin Frost’s yard. Only Spoofing held an engagement at Musselburgh yesterday evening but would not be out of the reckoning if turning up here.
