Verdict
AKAMANTO has gone up 3lb since his comeback second at Musselburgh but probably wouldn’t need to improve on that form to go one better here with Andrew Breslin taking off 7lb today. Kings Gold has been left on the same mark as when runner-up at Catterick six weeks ago but is still seeking a first win. Redcar third Sunrize is also a maiden but he has improved this year so can’t be ignored. Pink Ribbon and Al Hawraa should have improved for a first run of the year but the others are harder to recommend.
