Verdict

Restive was well beaten in a higher grade last time but had gone close at Newcastle before that when Genres was pulled-up having bled. Life Knowledge won at Newcastle early this year but never figured off today’s mark at Thirsk last week while Nanny Makfi was placed in four of six starts last season and has her first start for new connections today. STAR GLITTER (NAP) was sent off favourite at Catterick on his debut for David O’Meara’s yard but could only manage fourth. He gets another chance in this with an apprentice taking 7lb off his back.
