Ice Planet is taken to complete a quick follow-up, with Aahgowangowan, Viewforth and Kings College Boy out to stop him in the finale. Dandy Nichols has his sprinters in fine form at present, and Ice Planet added to his haul at Thirsk five days ago on what was only his ninth career start. As that was an apprentice affair, he avoids a penalty here, and although he would prefer faster ground, he should once again be in the shake-up. Aahgowangowan returned to form when making all over six furlongs at Thirsk last time, and as both her course wins have been over the minimum, she will be a big danger off her present mark. Viewforth normally finds one too good and was put in his place at Carlisle last time, but receives weight all round and is another to consider for a place at least. Kings College Boy does not win too often but ran fairly well here last time, while Mister Marmaduke will find this company tougher than he is used too. It is quite open in truth, but Ice Planet is more lightly-raced than most and has scope to progress.
