In depth

Verdict

GEORGE BOWEN (NAP) has been a great servant to Richard Fahey and though nowhere near the horse who last won off a mark of 102 in 2019 probably still has enough ability to land a race of this nature. Fendale scored at Newcastle in February but hasn't improved in two subsequent starts while Equidae, who is still an entire, is a Southwell specialist. Call Me Ginger has been racing in better company and will appreciate the drop in grade but Abel Handy has been badly out of form. Breaking Records runs the occasional decent race and will have needed his comeback at Wolverhampton.
