Verdict

An uninspiring handicap featuring some unreliable types. Lady Fandango ran poorly at Wolverhampton last time and has to concede race fitness after five months off. Outlaw Torn ran better than the bare form suggests at Ayr, but there is a doubt over his ability to get this trip under these conditions, and Tectonic can’t be relied upon to build on an improved effort at Carlisle. It’s probably fair to say we haven’t seen the best of PHEBES DREAM yet and she showed some promise at Gowran Park last month. Lady Turpin is on a low mark and will appreciate the drop in trip.
