        Verdict

        Sonara gets the vote here ahead of Highland Legacy and Grey Light. Sonara looked ahead of the handicapper when winning at Pontefract last time and, also, showed good battling qualities. These qualities can stand him good stead again today as he bids to defy a penalty. Petrosian has it to prove on Turf, while Dansimar went backwards from her seasonal return last time, but a return to that level of form would give him claims. However, Highland Legacy might prove to be the selection's biggest danger, having won well on his seasonal return at Windsor, looking an improved performer in the process. Finally, Grey Light improved for the step into handicap company and step up in trip on his latest start, so could improve again, while Bayonyx is a potential improver stepping up in trip today. Overall, though, we will side with Sonara.
