Verdict

George Adamson is the starting point after a tidy win at Ripon but he's unproven on this ground and may struggle to repeat the dose at this stiffer track. Preference is for MOHAWK RIDGE who has been running well despite the fact the yard have been in the doldrums and, with Michael Dods back among the winners, this soft ground specialist whose sole victory came here gets our vote. Epic is tried on ground with cut for the first time, Balwearie has stamina in abundance but may lack a change of gear required and Regent's Secret looks back in the handicapper's pocket following a win here in June.
