In depth
Verdict
A difficult to sort out sprint, with the popular Goretski heading the weights. A course and distance winner, he looks sure to give a good account. The mare Whizz Kid, who cost a paltry 400 guineas as a yealing, goes well on soft ground and will be a danger to all. Last years winner Northern Svengali attempts to follow up off a six pound lower mark, but he is probably better when he can hear his feet rattle.
