Verdict
Why Now,Mafaheem,Briannsta and Orphan are a handful against the field in another tough race to call and the tentative vote is given to Why Now. The selection won well at Southwell when beating Sharaby. Returns to turf off what looks a fair mark and from what looks a good draw he looks the one to be on. Mafaheem rates the main danger as he was a fair third behind Namir last time out and should appreciate this extra furlong so he should be noted in the market. Briannsta is another with place claims on his latest third behind Turn On The Style but he just gave the impression he was in the handicappers grip and for that reason he is opposed. Orphan is another with place claims on his best form but he looked far from an easy ride last time as he hung badly left under pressure and for that reason he is over looked. Of the remainder Rowan Lodge is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but for the winner we return to Why Now who looks handily weighted.
