In depth

Verdict

Duke Of Yorkshire is 10lb lower than for his last victory here but he’s not getting any younger and hasn’t raced since November. MILLIE THE MINX had more than three lengths to spare over Frankster over a shorter trip here 12 days ago. That was her first victory on the Flat but she’s won twice over hurdles so a step up in distance will suit. One Last Hug has placed a couple of times at Ayr this summer but is now 0-14 and Ritchie Star is 0-16 in career starts.
