In depth

Verdict

The Trader is penalised for winning under today’s apprentice over 1m4f here recently with stablemate Notation back in fourth and Alright Sunshine and Nicholas T further behind. But FIRST IMPRESSION makes more appeal given he’s won over hurdles since scoring over 1m2f on the Flat at Ayr last year and a recent third at Chester will have set him up nicely for this. Glasses Up was out of his depth at York a couple of days ago but had gone close at Musselburgh before that and could go well again.
