      Verdict

      Aberama Gold has a 5lb penalty for scoring at Wolverhampton but has won from higher marks in the past. PEARLE D'OR (NAP), a winner for Dermot Weld in Ireland, was having just his second start for David O'Meara when beaten a length at Yarmouth and can get off the mark for the yard. Vince Lombardi scored comfortably over course and distance last month but found the ground a bit lively when dropped back to 5f at Pontefract. Elladora gained her second course victory last month and made a bold bid to defy a 7lb rise last week and looks certain to get competitive.
