Verdict

SUNDAY BESS stood little chance in the Ribblesdale at Ascot last time and ran accordingly. She'd finished a close-up second over C&D before that and, with the winner having subsequently placed in Group company, Tom Dascombe's filly should open her account here. Mungo Park finished a creditable third on his reappearance at Warwick and looks a real threat over this extra furlong, while Convention may be capable of better stepping up in trip. The remainder have plenty to find and newcomer Apassionforfashion makes no appeal on breeding.
