Verdict
Remarkably, four of these have been in action this week and if TINSILL can repeat his strong-finishing Beverley second on Tuesday when just failing to reel in Compton River, then he'll be hard to beat. The gelding does the majority of his racing at the Yorkshire venue but does have a course and distance win here and Joe Fanning is booked for the ride. Classic Flyer also finished runner-up at Beverley when the application of first-time blinkers certainly had a positive effect after three modest efforts this term and he looks a major danger with headgear retained. Slim Chance was only half a length behind Tinsill so rates a leading contender too. Camanche Grey was beaten in selling grade earlier in the week so Gaelic Wizard, a course and distance winner in decent form, completes the shortlist.
