Verdict
Cockalorum has gone off the boil but Shine On Brendan arrives in good form and goes well here. Mr Professor made a promising start for new connections after a break at Sandown but Gainsbourg steps up in grade again after a couple of wins at Ayr. DUBAWI WARRIOR (NAP) easily landed the odds at Pontefract last month, never seeing another rival. His half-brother Al Mubhir is at his best on ground with plenty of give and his dam won a Listed race on good to soft so there is every chance that the Haggas three-year-old will relish underfoot conditions here and the handicapper hasn’t overreacted.
