Verdict

DUBAI ECHO is an eyecatching raider and can take this maiden, with Matraash appearing to be next best. The selection represents the red hot Sir Michael Stoute operation and ran a very good race in context when runner up at Windsor last time. This trip and fast ground look ideal, Seb Sanders appears to have been booked to get the job done and the trainer sends him a long way in order to find an good opportunity like this to break his duck. Matraash will perhaps appreciate the step up from a mile, having appeared not to have quite enough zip over that trip last time. The ground should suit and there could well be more to come at this distance so he is respected. Ian Semple does pretty well here and he saddles Black River Falls, who drops back to what looks a much more suitable trip for now after not getting home over 1m 4f at Newcastle. With the debut experience in the locker we should see more. Hillview Boy was quite a useful bumper horse and should stay this trip well. Fast ground suits and he might be the, best of the flat debutants, though Dubai Echo can score.
