      Verdict

Joshua The First finished just ahead of Haafkry when fourth at Ayr last month and should confirm the form as the latter didn't show much improvement when runner-up in a lesser race at Newcastle recently. Lexi's Prince was still beaten a couple of lengths when second at Redcar last week and Topcoat hasn't figured in three starts so far. NAYEF FLYER cost 30,000gns and is the first foal of a speedy mare who won three times as a two-year-old. Richard Fahey's colt may well be up to winning this on his debut, with fellow newcomer Dubious Escapade another to consider.
