Verdict

Paul Mulrennan produced a delightful ride on TANASOQ at Newcastle two starts back, since when the gelding has just lost out in a desperate finish at Ayr. A mark of 68 should not prove beyond the in-form gelding and hopefully he'll be the recipient of more Mulrennan magic here. The winning run of Rose Bandit came to an abrupt halt at Beverley on Tuesday so more will be needed if she looks to bounce back quickly. Mr Trevor rates a likelier threat after coming back to form at Catterick recently and Captain Corcoran enters the reckoning if all is well as he's had considerable breaks between runs of late. Auckland Lodge and Debawtry have place claims.
