Verdict

CHESTNUTTER's close third to Velocidad at Fairyhouse was greatly boosted when the winner went on to land a Group 2 at the Curragh and Noel Meade's filly should prove good enough for this. Slamadoor missed the break at Limerick but will have come on a bundle for the experience as will Butterfly Island for her run at Navan, form that has worked out very well. De Vega's Warrior is an interesting newcomer being a brother to a Listed winner and a half-brother to two 6f winners. He has the experience of a placed effort in a barrier trial at Dundalk behind him.
