Verdict

MAGICAL LAGOON came home nicely in front in a Dundalk barrier trial last month and the daughter of Galileo, who cost 305,000gns and was bred by Coolmore, is related to numerous winners. She could prove an alternative to likely market leader Madonnadelrosario, a beautifully-bred daughter of Caravaggio who went into plenty of notebooks after her debut in a 7f maiden on this track that has worked out well. Cairde Go Deo is a sister to a winner and half-sister to three others while Livia Celeste, another Galileo, will probably need further in time. Punta Di Piedi is a half-sister to the top-class Beethoven and two other winners and her stable won this last year.
