In depth

Verdict

Another wide open affair and many would have chances on there best form but we will take a chance on Pension Fund. The gelding from the Mick Easterby yard is thrown in on his best form and with conditions in his favour he will should go well at a big price. Creskeld is another that is well in on his AW form but he has failed to win on turf for a long time so for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. Mafruz is another worth of consideration after a fine third behind Tedstale on his debut this season but he gave the impression he would be better over further as he was doing all his best work at the finish. Weecandoo has been in good form on the AW of late but his best turf form is on very soft ground so the more rain the better for him. Cherished Number ran as if coming to hand when fifth in a better race last time out and he is another that could go well despite top weight. Ace Of Trumps has a fine record at this track so is another that could go well off what looks a fair mark. Of the remainder a market move for Liberty Seeker is from a shrewd yard and is worth a cautionary look in the market.
