Verdict
Some in-form rivals in opposition with Ambushed and Ace Of Trumps both penalised 6lb for recent wins with preference for the former following an emphatic six-length course and distance success. Peter Monteith's charge is the one to beat if reproducing the form in these less testing conditions. Nigrasine has been in good form of late and remains well treated on last year's form. Les Eyre's charge is equally effective over this longer trip and is one for the shortlist but Mister Rambo may now be in the handicapper's grip.
