Verdict

Course and distance winner Argaki has been a revelation of late, improving from frustrating maiden to useful handicapper in the making after two wins and two seconds from his last four outings. The Strategic Prince gelding should be competitive once more despite a 6lb penalty and provides Keith Dalgleish with a strong hand as the handler also fields Corton Lad, another course and distance winner who has found form of late. However, the pair are hard to split and LORD FRANKLIN gets the nod as he'll prove a tough nut to crack if allowed a soft lead. He has struck up a fine rapport with Jason Hart and should be a leading player despite a 7lb rise for an ultra-game Leicester win latest. Old boy Dhaular Dhar showed a spark of previous days last time for Jim Goldie and it's good to see him finding some form.
