In depth
Verdict
A weak claimer in which we will side with top-weight Spiritual Peace ahead of Oeuf A La Neige. Kevin Ryan's gelding doesn't have the most encouraging of strike-rates however he is at least consistent and normally runs his race. He acts on soft ground so conditions shouldn't pose any problems so he gets the vote. Oeuf A La Neige was beaten two lengths last time out and has claims if reproducing that run now dropped in grade, however he is winless in his last nineteen starts so is passed over again. Telepatchi represents a trainer who has had some big-priced winners of late and has winning course and distance form, whilst Regal Raider looks the pick of Ian Semple's pair on jockey bookings. Throw The Dice is capable of a big run if at his best, however Spiritual Peace is taken to record just the second win of his career.
