Verdict

Mottley Crewe is consistent and is fancied for the frame places but he has lacked the pace towards the finish to see out a win so far. Red Roar won well against former Hong Kong sprinter Bushwhacker last time out but the form looks weak from that race with no subsequent scorers taken from the line up. RITUAL offers the most appeal and we give the vote to Jeremy Noseda's runner. The selection ran really well at Leicester over this sort of trip and beat a useful sort in Mata Hari Blue. Incidentally the pick also beat Mottley Crewe in that same race. Paul Hanagan is once again in the hot seat and can take the victory. Belinsky is back to the same mark as his last win in May but is completely out of form whilst Spinning Spirit struggled to cope with a 6lb rise for winning at Haydock when he last raced at Ayr.
