      Verdict

      Al Shahaniya and Nimr are both expensive purchases racing in Al Shaqab colours for different trainers. The betting may give the best clue to their chances but Kevin Ryan has a decent strike rate at the track and SAYEDAATI SAADATI has a string of fancy entries in the top two-year-old races. He may well be good enough to make a winning start and gets a speculative vote. The remainder make little appeal with Doeadeer preferred to stablemate Amy Blair and Luath.
