Verdict

LEONCAVALLO looks a useful early-season type and should have few problems completing his hat-trick, despite a double penalty. Fortuna Glas was tailed off behind Egmont at Hexham and the latter has been beaten since at Uttoxeter. Newcomer Champagne Ransom is interesting given connections but didn't manage a win in 10 tries on the Flat and was well behind the selection at Wolverhampton in the spring.
