    Verdict

COLLIDE is a superbly-bred son of Frankel who was too green to do himself justice on his debut at Pontefract. Lessons will have been learned that day and it will be a surprise if the Newmarket raider doesn’t land this. Billy Ruskin showed some promise at Thirsk earlier this month and is another likely improver. Jj's Journey is a full brother to the stable’s middle-distance winner Carbon Dating so makes most appeal of the newcomers ahead of the filly Nanjoe. Vivernus boasts placed form in Meydan but is now with his fourth trainer and hasn’t raced since January.
