In depth

Verdict

Rudry World is fancied to cope with his penalty for last week's course and distance success and can add to his tally; Red Wine and Music Review are considered as the major contenders from the rest. Music Review arrives here in great heart after winning at Beverley a week ago - scoring readily against a similar calibre of opponent. The 6lb extra she carries today is fair and a bold bid can be anticipated. Red Wine has posted a couple of encouraging performances and , having proved that he is no back number yet, this one-time favourite for the Triumph Hurdle rates as a serious player this afternoon. He should cope with the ground and can give his supporters a good run for their money. However, Rudry World has really knuckled down to hard work of late and fully deserved his victory last week. The son of Spinning World had plenty to spare at the finish on that occasion and is well worth another chance to follow up today.
