Verdict
Artistic License faces no easy task under her penalty for her success on the Polytrack at Great Leighs last time and Mick Channon's filly looks best left out of calculations with preference for PRESCRIPTION, who gets the verdict over Linda Green. The last mentioned is like Artistic License trained by Mick Channon and does handle cut in the ground as she showed again when second at Goodwood two starts ago but she is probably better on faster ground and may have to settle for minor honours again. Ingleby Princess clearly handles a soft surface and a market move for David Barron's filly would be of interest off what seems a fair mark. Topweight Sudden Impact takes a drop in class but seems plenty high enough in the handicap, while Mark Johnston's Feisty Royale is probably better on faster ground. The vote then goes to Sir Mark Prescott's Prescription who is by some way the least exposed of the eight runners after just three starts, was good value for her wins on a soft surface at Yarmouth and on her handicap debut at Lingfield, for which she escapes a penalty as that was in an apprentice jockeys race, and she is taken to follow up those wins here.
