This is a very open handicap and Viewforth is given a tentative vote, Insubordinate and Bundy are two of many dangers. Ian Semple's seven-year-old was strongly fancied on numerous occasions last season but just couldn't manage a victory. However as a result he is now down to a very attractive mark. He showed his well being with an excellent second behind Chatshow at Southwell recently and he can go one better this afternoon. Insubordinate was a smooth winner on heavy ground at Newcastle last season and looks the pick of the three Jim Goldie runners. Thornaby Green looks on his way back and may do best of the others, but in a very tricky contest Viewforth is selected to get an overdue victory.
