In depth

Verdict

Perfect Soldier has returned from a lay-off in good form and landed a double at Musselburgh last month. He steps up from 7f raised only 2lb but MILLIE THE MINX is just preferred. The latter has been winning over hurdles since last seen on the Flat but recorded a double here last summer and should be in the mix off her current mark on her return. Hot Team hasn’t won since 2018 and slips further down the weights while Bawaader can race off a lower mark than when going close here last year.
