In depth

Verdict

Trafalgar Boy has been absent for one day shy of 750 days but did show promise in a couple of bumpers, including when fourth on debut behind subsequent superstar, Shishkin. The market should reflect his chance. Global Effect didn't shape too badly after a 192-day break and wind surgery when fourth at Ludlow but will need to improve again to handle BROOMFIELD BURG. The Henderson inmate has looked useful in landing a point-to-point and a bumper (this month) and should make a winning start over timber. Guy De Guye has shown little on two starts but is in good hands and should improve.
