In depth

Verdict

Little recent winning form on offer with the exception of Fact Flow's win on his penultimate start, although he was well beaten next time up. Twycross Warrior has to be of interest due to some useful hurdling form at this level but is asked to give weight away all round on his chasing debut. He should be in the shake-up if taking to his new discipline. However, WRITE IT DOWN is given a tentative vote in the hope he rediscovers his best chasing form from last year. Recent runs have been below par, but he is a course and distance winner and no less than 22lb lower than when a sound runner-up at Taunton just six months ago. Special Buddy returned to form last time and is a danger along with the well-treated Triple Chief on a first run for Chris Honour.
