Verdict
Ryme Intrinseca can get the better of Night Mist in the most valuable contest on the Hamilton card, which is restricted to fillies. Mick Channon's daughter of Hector Protector was a good third to Macadamia in a Listed event at Pontefract on June 9, but was well behind the same filly in the Royal Hunt Cup last week. Lady Bear was nearly three lengths behind the selection at Pontefract, and now reopposes on 12lbs worse terms. The trip should suit Night Mist, who hails from the in-form Mark Johnston stable and has to be given every respect, and she did win over course and distance as a juvenile. A five-furlong winner at two-years-old, Glenviews Purchase has raced only at Listed level at six furlongs this season. There is every chance she will improve for a step up to a mile, her first try at the trip, so cannot be entirely ruled out. An interesting contest but Ryme Intinseca can bag the valuable prize.
