        Verdict

        Keith Dalgleish frequently runs more than one in northern handicaps and has two strong chances with Mi Capricho and PADDYPLEX. The former has enjoyed a cracking season with three wins and two seconds and it would not surprise to see him bounce back from his one underwhelming run latest. However, the latter took advantage of a dramatically tumbling mark to land an apprentice handicap in facile fashion this month and is still well treated on his old form despite a 9lb hike for that victory. He is just preferred to Havana Go, who has steadily moved back to form this term and held on well to score at Ayr last time. Ventura Gold offers a solid each-way option.
