Verdict

Much of REGENT'S SECRET's chance will depend on a run at Musselburgh on Thursday but if turning up here unscathed looks to have a good opportunity at scoring again although Sharp Sovereign should give him something to think about along with Amical Risks Having improved in his first two starts of the season the pick then went on to score by five lengths over Hi Dancer in a amateur riders race so despite being 10lbs worse off he should have enough to overcome that if improving again. Sharp Sovereign has held his form well since scoring with something in hand at Yarmouth in May. That said he still looks high in the weights after his last two efforts but place money looks a big possibility. Amical Risks blew his chance at the start last time out but was the pick of the finishers so if breaking on terms this time should go close while New England looks a live contender based o his close up fifth on his last run. A wide open contest but Regent's Secret should have enough to take it.
