Verdict
Cassy O came out best in a bunch finish at Thirsk last time while Fools Rush In returned to action with a course and distance victory but is 7lb higher. It was heavy going when Stone Soldier won here in May while both Baby Steps and Higher Kingdom finished runner-up on their latest starts and Alphonse Karr placed over 6f at Windsor. NORTHERNPOWERHOUSE finished a close-up fourth at Redcar recently and gets the vote in an open contest now back on the same mark as when successful over track and trip last summer.
