      Verdict

      FORGE never figured at York last time but this is easier. Sir Michael Stoute’s charge has every chance on his earlier placed efforts in Group races at Goodwood and Ascot. Muwaary made a promising return at York having missed the whole of last year and can be forgiven a poor run in heavy ground last time. He’s preferred to Dark Emerald, third in the Group 2 Hungerford at Newbury recently, while Atlantic Sun ran well in a similar conditions race to this at Chelmsford on his latest start. All of the remainder have a bit to find on these terms and will do well to get involved.
