      Verdict

      Dark Moon Rising is penalised for winning at Beverley though the runner-up has subsequently boosted the form and Kevin Ryan’s colt can figure again. NEW KINGDOM faded in the closing stages when sent off favourite at Newbury on last month’s debut having travelled well for most of the way. The Godolphin charge looks worth another chance with that run under his belt. Deauville Legend is a full-brother to a winner while Thundering is related to six winners and that pair are preferred to Qitaal and Allegedly of the newcomers.
