    Verdict

David O'Meara has a strong hand in a wide-open contest. Alejandro has been competing in better company and is back on a winning mark but stablemate STEEL TRAIN went close in this grade at Thirsk last month and Shelley Birkett partnered him to success at the same track back in May. Peril failed in his bid for hat-trick when well beaten at Kempton and the winning run of Rodrigo De Torres came to an end at Musselburgh last week but Captain Bob and Exchequer should be thereabouts again off their current marks.
