      Verdict

      Valley Forge has been raised 7lb for winning the Melrose at York but should again beat Golden Flame. The latter is trained by Mark Johnston, who is also responsible for Carlisle winner Roseabad. PRAIANO (NAP) failed to see daylight until it was too late when fourth behind Oceanline at Sandown. He is 3lb better off with the winner and can reverse placings granted better luck in-running. Contact was ahead of Oceanline over course and distance in July but Vino Victrix will need to take a big step forward to complete the hat-trick.
