Verdict
Tell The Trees is taken to make up for her recent lapse, with Greek Star and Beauchamp Prince just two interesting rivals. Tell The Trees was no great shakes on the Flat but she was good enough to make all on her debut over timber on fast ground at Fontwell in September. She was then beaten in a better race at Chepstow but acquitted herself well in finishing third behind Salut Saint Cloud. Martin Pipe's filly then got no further than the first flight when sent off as favourite for another decent contest on paper at Cheltenham last week, and provided that she is no worse for her exertions, can make fitness tell today. Greek Star made a pleasing debut when chasing home Hernando's Boy at Wetherby, and although probably flattered by his proximity to the winner, should still have no trouble in opening his account before too long. Beauchamp Prince was behind in sixth place at Wetherby, but if he can brush up his jumping, is another who can improve. Tim Easterby saddles three runners, so the market should be noted, although on form Bay Solitaire would be the pick, while of the rest, A Bit Of Fun is worth a mention. For the winner we return to Tell The Trees.
