In depth
Verdict
Intricate Web, Harry Potter and Nuit Sombre are the three we like here and the narrow vote is given to the last mentioned. The selection has been a little disappointing of late, but consequently he has dropped to a handy mark and now that he has his conditions for the first time this season he is taken to score. Intricate Web could not be in better form and he was unlucky in running when third behind Blue Trojan on this track. He has got to be seriously considered here and he will not be far away at the finish. Harry Potter finished behind Intricate Web in that same race and both finished in front of Uhoomagoo on that day, who went on to frank the form with an impressive win at Epsom on Friday. With the Karl Burke yard in good form he looks more than capable of running on into a place. Go Tech is the other with decent claims in the race, but Nuit Sombre is more than capable of winning here off his current mark, and we are happy to put him forward as the one to beat.
