Verdict

A battle for the lead looks on the cards in this with recent winners Alejandro and Dark Emerald both liking their own way up front. Capo Rosso's winning run came to end attempting to make all at Ayr last time and Tellovoi adopts front-running tactics more often than not. APOSTLE will benefit if a cut-throat pace ensues and David Simcock's charge gets the nod ahead of Heavy Metal. The latter beat Chilworth Icon easily enough at Redcar last month but finished last at Newcastle on his latest start.
