Verdict
Lockstock has hit a rich vein of form of late and can prevail in a typically open Showcase event. The Malcolm Saunders-trained gelding has yet to finish out of the places in eight starts this term and has notched up two wins. The four-year-old remains on a very fair mark and will be seen to better effect back on turf having been outpaced on the sand last time. Dayglow Dancer is well treated but has become disappointing and needs more cut in the ground but Amaranth, Sea Storm and Mister Mal have all shaped well of late and remain on a winning mark so must be respected.
