        Verdict

        Lilypad, a 100,000gns yearling, has a fine middle-distance pedigree and will have come on a bundle for her opening run at Kempton where she was very green. Crimson Skies attempted to make all when stepped up to this trip at Musselburgh but could only stay on at one pace when headed 2f out. KING LUD had some strong form in decent handicaps before finding 1m6f and Class 2 company just beyond him at Chelmsford but he led for a long way and this looks his trip. Magical Sight has been strongly supported in both starts over a mile but was beaten 10 lengths into second at Nottingham last time and takes a big step up in trip.
