Danzeno has had a couple of near misses since scoring over course and distance on quicker ground in July. He is still on a fair mark and seems certain to be thereabouts again given he’ll handle conditions. HYPERFOCUS has his ground, however, and Tim Easterby’s charge came right back to form at Ripon when he was probably drawn on the wrong side. Chelmsford winner Unabated is much better on the all-weather nowadays and Desert Doctor is also best on artificial surfaces but Royal Residence is respected and Danzan wasn’t beaten far in a couple of runs at Windsor at the start of the summer. Alaadel and Tawny Port look best of the rest.
