Verdict

Four of these have course and distance victories to their credit including SUPER JULIUS, who also scored at Hamilton in July and is 6lb higher. He looks the one to be on though Desert Ace, who won a seller on the track the same month, ran easily his best race for some time when runner-up at Beverley on Saturday when Excessable was behind. His stable also run Gameson, who beat subsequent winner B Fifty Two at Thirsk in June then followed up at Carlisle. Jordan Electrics has gained both victories on fast going so wouldn't want any more rain.
